Ghana
This multicultural country is located south of the Sahara in western Africa. It is surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean and the Gulf of Guinea in the south, Togo in the east, Burkina Faso in the north, the Ivory Coast in the west, and Burkina Faso in the east. The country is slightly smaller than the state of Oregon. The landscape consists mainly of plains and low plateaus covered by rainforests in the west and Lake Volta in the east. The President of Ghana is in charge of both the government and the state. Together with their democratic political system, they currently have one of Africa's strongest economies, which has elevated them to regional power status in West Africa. There is also a system of tribal government in addition to the national government.
This nation is incredible to visit because it has been successful in preserving its culture for so long. Its varied geography and ecology include everything from tropical jungles to coastal savannahs. Ghana, formerly known as the Gold Coast, is now the second-largest producer of cocoa beans in the world and the second-largest producer of gold in Africa. Ghana is also well-known for its verdant forests, wide variety of animal life, and miles of sandy beaches along a picturesque coast. It is also praised for its rich history, with possible habitation dating back to 10,000 BCE, as well as its status as an intriguing repository of cultural heritage.
