Your journey begins in Chiang Mai, where you’ll explore temples, bustling markets, and hilltribe villages, and learn Thai language basics to help you connect with the community. Paint your own umbrella in the Umbrella Village, relax at a hot spring, and master Thai recipes during a fun cooking class. After soaking up the northern charm, you’ll ride an overnight train to Bangkok to visit the Grand Palace, Wat Pho, and the iconic Khao San Road.
Your Thailand group volunteer adventure continues south to Hua Hin, where you’ll dive into hands-on community projects like teaching, construction, or environmental conservation. Balance your project work with waterfalls, Buddhist temple rituals, and beach days at Sai Noi Beach and Sam Roi Yot National Park. Then it’s island time! Catch the ferry to Koh Samui for coconut crafts, waterfalls, and blissful beaches. Spend your final week learning about elephant conservation, touring Ang Thong Marine Park by boat, cooking Thai dishes, and relaxing with your group at sunset markets and beachside dinners. Itinerary
Day 1 – Arrival in Chiang Mai
Pickup from Chiang Mai Airport (CNX) and transfer to the TGL Center. Settle into your accommodation and enjoy a short introduction.

Day 2 – Program Orientation & City Tour
Begin the day with an introduction to The Green Lion and the 6-week program, including cultural lessons and Thai language basics. In the afternoon, visit the Lanna Folklife Museum, Warorrot Market, and Chiang Mai Old Town. The evening ends with a trip to the Chiang Mai Night Bazaar.

Day 3 – Temple Excursion & Free Time
Visit Wat Phra That Doi Suthep and a local hilltribe village in the morning. Continue with a visit to the serene Wat Pha Lad temple. Enjoy free time and group activities in the evening.

Day 4 – Umbrella Village & Hot Springs
Visit the Umbrella Village and paint your own umbrella. In the afternoon, relax at a hot spring pool. End the day with a traditional Thai massage.

Day 5 – Local Culture & Temples
Revisit the Lanna Folklife Museum and Warorrot Market. In the afternoon, explore Wat Chedi Luang and enjoy the Night Market. Evening is free for group activities or relaxation.

Day 6 – Thai Cooking & Train to Bangkok
Take part in a Thai cooking class in the morning. Spend the afternoon exploring Chiang Mai on your own. In the evening, transfer to the train station for the overnight journey to Bangkok.

Day 7 – Bangkok City Tour
Arrive in Bangkok and explore key sights including the Royal Palace, Wat Pho, Wat Sisaket, and Wat Arun. Shop at the MBK Mall, then enjoy an evening at Khao San Road.

Overnight: 3* Hotel in Bangkok, Khao San Road
Day 8 – Travel to Hua Hin
Free morning in Bangkok. In the afternoon, transfer to Hua Hin (3–4 hours). Settle into your new accommodation and attend an orientation session.

Day 9 – Waterfall & Temples Tour
Visit Pala U Waterfall in the morning. In the afternoon, hike to Chicken Drop Cave and visit Huay Mongkol Temple for Buddhist rituals. End the day at the Hua Hin Night Market.

Day 10 – Community Project Begins
Start your community project in teaching, environmental conservation, or construction. Enjoy free time in the evening.

Day 11 – Project Work Continues
Continue work on your selected community project. Free time in the evening for relaxation or group activities.

Another full day of community project work followed by free time in the evening.

Day 13 – Project Work & Beach Visit
Wrap up the week’s project work. In the afternoon, visit Sai Noi Beach and end the day at Cicada and Tamarind Night Markets.

Day 14 – Sam Roi Yot Adventure
Embark on a day tour to Sam Roi Yot. Trek to Praya Nakorn Cave and relax at the beach. Return in the evening, pack your bags, and take the night bus to Surat Thani.

Day 15 – Arrive in Koh Samui
Take the ferry from Surat Thani to Koh Samui. Check in and rest from your journey. Enjoy a free day to relax.

Day 16 – Craft & Waterfall Visit
Create coconut shell keychains in a craft workshop. Visit Na Mueang Waterfall, Lamai Beach, and nearby shops for essentials.

Day 17 – Beaches & Big Buddha

Day 18 – Elephant Conservation Intro
Attend an introductory session on the Elephant Conservation Program. Learn how to prepare Thai herbal medicine for elephants.

Take a full-day boat tour of Ang Thong National Marine Park, including a visit to Thale Nai Lake.
